Colorado Instruments, Inc. is a Registered Colorado Corporation, doing business as (DBA) SOLARMADE and Solarts®. We manufacture a wide variety of solar (photovoltaic) powered products for educational, consumer, electronic and custom OEM markets. Manufacturing of our Solarts® solar powered executive gifts and solar panels began in 1978. Beginning in 1985 and continuing through June 2010, we were doing business as (DBA) "SOLAR WORLD".
Solar World
Solar Made owns a 5000 square foot manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs. Nearly all of our solar products are proudly "Made in the USA" by 18 dedicated employees. The majority of our solar panels and solar battery chargers are made using Mono or Single-Crystal Silicon solar cells, many of which are Space Satellite grade, (the most efficient solar cells on the market).
